Reconstruction of the Black Rose Shopping Centre. The core of the building is a commercial passage, offices and apartments.
The reconstruction restored the original appearance with generous reinforced concrete arches (the largest reinforced concrete arch in Europe at the time) and glass galleries.
The building received new technical equipment and underground garages.
To revive the galleries, it was necessary to build escalators, which are a new deliberate element in the otherwise very reverent reconstruction.
Elements of the previous Brussels-style reconstruction were removed and the passage was returned to its original, pure functionalist form.
