The family house is located in a residential district on the outskirts of Prague, in the vicinity of the site of an important historical event, on a gently sloping plot with open views of the countryside.

The investor's request was to create a house that was as clean as possible, where architecture would naturally connect with the visual arts. The building was therefore created in close collaboration between architects and leading Czech and foreign visual artists. Works of art are thus a integral part of the house – from the entrance to the garden.

The architectural composition works with the contrast between two masses – a massive base and a subtle upper floor. The entrance floor is partially cut into the western slope. The front wall of exposed concrete and its relief is also the first work of art you will encounter here. It was designed by Federico Díaz. Another eye-catching feature is the stainless steel entrance gate leading to the garden, designed by Petr Demek and complemented by a descriptive and orientation number in minimalist graphics by Jan Šerých.

The interior is decorated in light tones. White walls, lacquered furniture, and light terrazzo flooring create a neutral, almost gallery-like environment. This restrained material and color palette allows the artwork to stand out, as do the changing landscape views outside the windows, reinforcing the concept of the house as a refuge for a focused, peaceful life with art.
